 A Note from Me to You ❤️

I was driving home from the funeral of a loved one with my 3-week-old baby asleep in the back seat. There we were... crawling through traffic in  Newark, the distant Manhattan skyline reflecting a golden sunset... as if it was a picture in a magazine. It was beautiful. But in that moment, it felt like a perfect metaphor for my life.

I  had spent that last 8 years building my company, seeing massive success, reaching incredible heights and yet when I  became a mother a part of me felt wrong for not being present at home with my children. I  was an industry household name, published in Entrepreneur Mag at just 23 years old... but here I  was 29, living a soft life... it felt disempowered, full of this or that choices based off our family "budget"... I  cringed every time we discussed finances because my desires felt so far away.

I had grown comfortable in the in-between of having it all and being home. Comfortable being just close enough to the vision to feel its power... but never walking fully into it. Comfortable enough to dream about "one day" but uncomfortable to actually ask for what I  needed at home. 

On that drive home -- I  spoke aloud the question that would change everything - "What am I doing with my life???"   It was raw, real, and a true come to Jesus moment... 

That drive lit something in me I could no longer ignore. Two weeks later, Dare to Make Millions LIVE was born. I had the venue booked. The vision mapped out. A nanny and housekeeper hired. I  went from feeling frustrated in mediocracy to living my dream life in weeks. (yes, weeks!)

And less than 3 months after that drive, I  was standing in NYC having just completed my first sold-out Dare to Make Millions LIVE event, watching the sunset over that same skyline.  

Why? Because I decided. I  decided to stop circling my own potential. I decided to be the woman who actually moves. And that moment on the highway asking myself if I was ready to claim more? That was my line in the sand.
